The Captain Marvel Talent Tour was a full-day event that included appearances by several cast members of the movie. The event featured a press conference, interviews, fan meets, and a stage segment with additional Q&A sessions.

I was honoured with the task of editing the raw footages from the interviews with the stars into insider videos for Disney’s social media channels. These interviews were conducted by our host, Elvira, with stars like Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, and Gemma Chan. This task involved editing, sequencing, colour correction, audio editing, adding subtitles, sourcing appropriate movie scenes, and adding sliders for introductions for three videos: a standard interview video about the movie, and two activity segments titled "What Would You Bring Back from the 90s?" and "This or That".

However, I had tasks during the event as well, which was to capture every necessary moment, including b-roll and interesting moments that could be compiled into a video for posting online as an insider. We were put in pairs to assist each other.

We started by filming interviews with fans before the event and taking any filler shots needed. Once we could enter the venue, we filmed on the red carpet capturing side angles of our host’s interviews with fans. During the event, we all moved to the back to await the stars’ arrival and filmed their entrance when they did. When the talents turned up one by one, I moved around handholding the camera to spots and gaps to try and catch the talents in between the signings and interviews.

We went out with Haikal to interview more fans, and after he finished, I approached them to ask if I could film some filler shots of them showing off their costumes, smiling, or just interacting with each other. This captured the extravagant makeup and props to showcase the energy of the marvel community. Marvel fans can be really dedicated and impressive, bringing people together and radiating joy.
