Digital In Cultural Spaces: Boat Quay
Digital in Cultural Spaces was a programme organised by Culture Academy Singapore and National Heritage Board that was exhibited in the National Museum of Singapore. Our group was chosen to represent Boat Quay through illustrations and animated project mapping. The illustrations represented present day Boat Quay and the animations were the bustling activities in the past.

These designs were meant to capture the essence of the area - past and present - and the significance it carries throughout the development of Singapore. Leading the research and ideation, I spent hours reading the history and identifying key elements of Boat Quay, making sure we integrate all the little details to the large ones.

I also created a photo book that included photographs I took, quotes and sketches contrasting the same monuments past versus present. The copy was all handwritten and the book was manually assembled with string and encased in a DIY box to portray a rustic and vintage exterior.
