MY CONTRIBUTIONS

As a co-founder, I played a vital role in building the brand from scratch, including developing its brand identity, identifying its target audience, and establishing its position in the market.

My creative contributions ranged from designing logos, branding collaterals and social media assets to crafting custom home configurations for customers using Cinema4D. I also built the website, wrote all website copy, product descriptions and articles.

​

Other responsibilities included developing marketing strategies, writing proposals, managing the social media platforms, creating and scheduling posts using tools, analysing data, and allocating budget for ads.

​

I set up a studio space for in-house shoots and designed our showroom, as well as, staged the homes and spaces of clients after we are done with the installation for photos. 

​

Outside of the creative realm, I contribute by developing our business model, creating internal processes and workflows, researching and sourcing suitable materials, discovering suppliers and partners, maintaining relationships with them and customers, fulfilling all financial submissions and returns, securing manpower, licenses, and certificates, and handling all legal duties.

​

Above all, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders and customers, refining my abilities in client servicing. It is essential in this field that I understand their needs to effectively communicate their requests to the team, schedule and coordinate site visits, convey pertinent information and clarifications to clients, devise solutions for customer satisfaction or compensation in the event of an issue, and incorporate client benefits to cultivate strong relationships with them throughout the duration of the project.

ABOUT

Now known as Merci Manzel, The Lifestyle Studio is a furniture and home decor brand that I co-founded in 2019. Our brand specialises in creating unique pieces using industrial pipes and recycled wood, and can be used in various settings such as homes, offices, restaurants, retail stores, exhibition spaces, and more.

​

The idea for the brand came about during a personal quest to improve my living space. I realised that my home environment was having a significant impact on my lifestyle and productivity, and I wanted to optimise my space to be more efficient, space-saving, and free from clutter.

​

However, I couldn't find suitable products in local stores or brands so I turned to online retailers like Shopee and Lazada. Unfortunately, the products I received were often of poor quality, and it would take weeks for them to arrive, not to mention they looked nothing like the images online.

​

I began sourcing industrial pipes and recycled wood separately and experimented with assembling them myself. I drew inspiration online and discovered the endless possibilities of this unique combination of materials.

​

We recognise that others may be facing similar challenges in finding the perfect piece for their home and we realised the versatility of these materials meant that they are extremely customisable to each person’s needs. This was when we birthed The Lifestyle Studio.

All the items were handmade and kept affordable so that productive living is easily accessible for anyone.
