We were given three t-shirts to promote for the Uniqlo Mickey Style 90 and were tasked with creating 3 Instagram stills that would make the shirts more stylish and appealing to our target audience. I suggested the themes Neon Noir, Edgy Pink and Concrete Jungle, which were the most relevant to our target audience. Concrete Jungle, in particular, was similar to what most young adult females in Singapore would wear. We created art boards and sketches on Illustrator to show our supervisor the potential outcome of the flatlays.

The entire process included brainstorming, shooting, post-production editing, and colour correction using Photoshop. I brought some of the props we needed and shot everything on a large vanguard sheet with the respective props and used remote shooting via the Canon app on the laptop. We also created boomerangs of us wearing the t-shirts. I colour corrected both the photos and videos in Lightroom and After Effects respectively. We also had to fixe some creases, brightened certain areas and edited out any stains on Photoshop. Then my colleagues proceeded to create an Instagram story of them.
